About Cochin University of Science and Technology, School of Management Studies - [SMS]

School of Management Studies (SMS) was established in 1964, making it one of the oldest B-Schools in the country, and with a legacy of more than 5000 alumni across the world. SMS is part of the prestigious State-owned Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi. CUSAT is Re-Accredited by NAAC with Grade A+ and at all India 41st rank by NIRF.

It offers MBA full-time, MBA part-time, and Ph.D. programs. Admission to MBA course is on the basis of scores obtained in CAT/ KMAT or CMAT exams followed by GD/PI.

CUSAT, SMS Kochi Admissions 2024

For MBA courses i.e. Full-time/ part-time of the University, the admission will be based on score in the aptitude test / CMAT/ CAT/ KMAT followed by Interview of CUSAT.

For Ph.D, Admissions are based on Departmental Admission Test (DAT) which consists of Written Test and Personal Interview. Candidates awarded fellowships by UGC/ CSIR/ AICTE/etc or GATE/NET qualified are exempted from DAT.
