Engineering Education is given by the Faculty of Engineering whereas the education for Masters is given by the Faculty of Management.DY Patil Education Society's DY Patil Technical Campus was founded by DY Patil, 26 years ago.
The college is All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved, New Delhi and also by The Department of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra state. It is also affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur in Maharashtra. The group also contributed USD 20 million to build a world class sport complex, to show the importance of sports.
The campus is placed at Talsande which is a sustainable, eco green campus. The college is at a distance of 23-24 KM approx. from the nearby railway stations, airports and bus stands.
