About Gomatesh Polytechnic

Gomatesh Polytechnic College, Belgaum was established in 1960 and started to get transformed in 1982. Earlier, it was started with a diploma in creative disciplines with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Further in the year 1985 and 1989, this college introduced 3 more disciplines that are Electronic and Communication, Automobile Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. In the year 2000, this college introduced another department of information science. Likewise, many specializations got added in the proceeding years and currently, it offers around 10 specializations. Placements are provided to about 70% of the students every year.
