Government Polytechnic Baripada or Government Polytechnic Mayurbhanj situated in Baripada, Mayurbhanj was established in 2015. Government Polytechnic Baripada Courses

It offers four diploma courses in the engineering stream. All the courses are full time, and details are indicated in the below table.

Government Polytechnic Baripada Admission

Admission application is made entirely online, and admission to diploma courses is offered in two ways:

i) Regular Entry - To join from the first year of the diploma course
ii) Lateral entry - To join from the second year of the diploma course

Application Procedure

Apply online at http://skill.samsodisha.gov.in/diploma.aspx as per the dates mentioned in the “Admission Timeline” given in the information brochure.
Candidates need to register first by using their mobile number and mail ID.
Candidates have to fill their particulars such as marks in10th-grade, and Roll No of 10th-grade exams, etc. in the application form as same as the particulars in the 10th-grade exams and have to upload photograph, signature, and 10th-grade mark-sheets as prescribed.
Pay the fees and submit the application filled after proper review.
Take the hardcopy of the submitted copy of the filled form.
Candidates have to carry this printed application form along with the fee payment proof and required documents to a counselling centre of their choice for manual verification if the online verification is not done previously.
After initial document verification, a merit list will be published based on the marks obtained in 10th-grade or 10+2 exams.
Candidates can then choose colleges available based on merit rank obtained in the merit list.
Seats are allotted based on choices, availability of seats, and ranking obtained in the merit list with respect to the preference.
Additional manual document verification will be done at the allotted college while reporting to confirm the seat.

Note: Candidates applying via lateral entry have to fill the lateral entry application form and the rest of the process is similar for them too.
