Government College, Hoshiarpur Admission

For admission in any of the desired courses of Government College, Hoshiarpur have to apply in online mode. 

• Admission to the B.Sc. program will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in PU-CET (UG). Admission to the B.A. program will be done on the basis of merit.
• At the Criteria for PG level, the institute offers an M.A. with 6 specializations and an M.Sc. for a duration of two years. Admission to the M.A. program will be based on the merit list and graduation results from any recognised university. 
• Selection to the M.Sc. program will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in PU-CET (PG) exam.

How to Apply?

First visit the college website and then follow the following steps.

Step 1- Registration Process

• Click on Apply Now. 
• If you have already registered on the website then click on Already Registered- Login and apply otherwise click on New Candidates Register here.
• Fill the required details, and accept the Undertaking.
• Verify the details and then click on Save and Register.
• Note down your User ID, Password, Applicant ID and click on Continue.

Step 2- Filling Personal Details

• Fill the personal details such as Family details, Address, Religion, etc and click on Save and Continue.

Step 3- Upload Documents

• Select scanned passport size photographs and click on upload.
• Select scanned signature in English and click on Upload. 
• Click on Save and Continue.

Step 4- Fill Caste and Category Details

• Select your caste, sub category, Family Income Range.
• If you do not want to apply for reservation click Save to continue.
• If you want to apply for reservation then select reservation main category and sub- category, if any. You can select the multiple reservation categories, as required. Click on save button to continue.

Step 5- Fill Academic Details 

• On the lower Exam screen fill your previous exam details and their respective subjects with results. Click Add Class and Add Subject to add more classes/ subjects as required. Click Save to continue.

Step 6- Fill Admission Details

• On Admission Class screen select the class in which you want to take admission, fill other required details and click Save to continue.
• Select subject options for each applied admission class which you want to study, if any. 
• You can apply for multiple classes by clicking on ADD CLASS and then SAVE to continue.

Step 7- Verification Process

• On mobile verification screen fill in Mobile OTP received on your registered mobile no. and click on Verify.

After completing the online application, if all fields are valid then take print out of the form for future reference.

Documents Required to Apply Online

The following documents are:

• A valid and active mobile number and Email ID because all the details will be shared through this number and ID only like OTP, Password, etc.
• Recent Passport size photograph scanned in 140*180 pixel resolution and size should be less than 100 KB.
• Candidate’s Signature scanned in 180*170 pixel resolution and size should be less than 50 KB.
• University Registration Number of Candidates if they are already registered with Punjab University.
• Aadhar Card Number.
