GSL Medical College Facilities 

Infrastructure: Spanning over an evasive 85 acres and spread over in more than 1,00,000 square kilometre area, the institution boasts of a huge and impressive infrastructure. All the classrooms, departments, libraries and laboratories are well lit, spacious and enjoy proper ventilation. The buildings are housed amongst lush green lawns which contribute to a fresh and healthy atmosphere. Attached to the college is GSL general hospital. It is a thousand bedded multi - speciality hospital which aims at providing good healthcare facilities to the rural poor at an affordable cost. 

Lecture halls and laboratories: The college houses three expansive examination halls which are built up in the area of 762 sq metre, 300 sq metre and 250 sq metre. It can easily accommodate more than 750 students. 

The college also has 5 huge lecture halls with four of them having the capacity of 240 students while one can accommodate upto 500 students. 

Additionally, there are separated common rooms available for both boys and girls. While the boys common room has a limited capacity of 250 students, the girl’s common room can accommodate double the number of students. 

Library: The GSL medical college library is fully air conditioned and is spread over 3,765 square metre. The library is divided into separate reading rooms for the staff and students respectively. It can accommodate upto 500 students at once. 

The central library has an impressive collection of 15,589 textbooks and 84 Indian and 61 Foreign journals. It also offers a digital library with 30 computers and wifi facility.

Hostel: Gsl medical college also offers hostel accommodation inside the college campus for outstation students. There are separate hostel blocks for both male and female students. The college also provides hostel accommodation for teaching and non teaching staff, interns and nurses.

The hostels are equipped with all the major facilities such as a cafeteria, supermarket, gymnasium with all the major equipment, a huge dining hall, AC/non AC rooms and many more facilities. It also houses a recreation centre with television and indoor game facilities to help you unwind a bit. Additionally, there is also a centrally conditioned study room with computers and internet facilities.
