IISER Mohali Admissions 2024

The admission criteria for integrated PhD is on the basis of JEST rank/DST INSPIRE fellowship or KVPY Scholarship/ Rank in IIT JAM along with Interview. For BS-MS dual degree, the selection is based on KVPY channel, JEE Advanced and SCB channel. Marks scored in 10+2 will also be taken into consideration. For PhD, the selection is based on the score obtained in GATE/CSIR or UGC-NET/GPAT/ICMR-JRF/DST-INSPIRE in relevant specialization along with an interview. For BS-MS Dual and PhD program, their merit scores which are the ranks and scores attained in respective examinations would decide the final admission of the student.

IISER Mohali Cutoff 2023 for the Fifth Round of Counselling has been released. The cutoff for Admissions to 5-year BS-MS programs at IISER Mohali is based on the scores of the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). Library: The space of the library is not only known for its beautiful ambience however also for the astonishing infrastructure. The library space is user friendly that creates a learning and creative environment for students. Personal books, laptops as well as library issues books are allowed for effective reading.
Visitor’s Hostel: There is an accommodation facility for Institute faculty as well as visitors.
Health Centre: The health centre of the Institute is well equipped with specialized doctors, surgeons and physicians. The faculty takes proper care and gives good treatment to its patients.
Sports Facilities: From athletics track to volleyball to kho kho, all such sports are played and taught in the premises of IISER.

Every year, large number of students pursue projects related to research in organization as well as academia through the internship. Ans. There are 6 departments on the campus namely Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences.

Ques. Does IISER Mohali have any course or facilities for the Arts or Commerce subjects?

Ans. The college has its prime focus on the courses under the science stream such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology at advanced levels. The students from the science stream generally benefit from the education provided in IISER. They are required to be well versed with their previous curriculum to be able to get suitable ranks and scores and finally get admission to the Institute.

Ques. I have interest in BS-MS Dual degree but my hobby is learning more about computers as well. Will IISER Mohali be able to arrange any facilities for IIT education?

Moreover, the Linux platform is used in the Institute is very helpful in scientific research.
