JPI Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for admission in JPI is listed below:

• The eligibility criteria of JPI is done as per the UGC guidelines.
• The admission at the institute is made by the state admission committee.
• The admission under Management Quota are made by the institute as per the state admission committee guidelines.

Admission: The admission on the management quota will be made at the institute as per the ACPC rules.

JPI Placement

Placement Cell plays a major role in making students interviewready. The institute provides placement facility to graduating students. The students have excellent opportunities for in plant training at various plant locations of the Gokul Group of Industries. The institute takes every measure to ensure that the engineers coming out of college get placed by the industry.

JPI Facilities

Hostel

The college has the facility of both girls and boys hostel. The boys hostel is located in the campus and for girls the arrangement of hostel is made in the city. The campus has the facility of a Bank Counter, Medical Center, Communication Center, Stationery Store, Canteen and Generator for uninterrupted power supply.

Library

JPI has state of the art Central Library that stocks over 300 texts and reference books and subscribes to nationally and internationally reputed journals, magazines, periodicals and an exclusive collection of industry reports, case studies and industry information database for research. The reading room has a capacity of 100 students and a separate study area has been allocated for the faculty.

Laboratory

The laboratories are well equipped with modern equipment. The institute has developed under ultra modern laboratories in all the disciplines as per the GTU/AICTE norms. The college also has a Language Laboratory in Foreign Languages.

Workshop

The central workshop of the institute is well equipped with all the modern machine tools and measuring instruments to provide practical training to the first year engineering students. Students get to learn about the basic machine tools of various shops like fitting shop, carpentry shop, plumbing shop, welding shop and many more related operations and processes.

Seminar Hall

An air-conditioned Seminar Hall is provided to promote e-based teaching and learning methodology with a seating capacity of 80 persons. It is available furnished with the necessary audio visual aids such as LCD projectors, PC with an internet connection, TV, Digital white boards enabling multimedia presentations.

WiFi

The campus has free WiFi zones available 24/7. All the PCs of campus are well networked with leased line internet facilities. WiFi internet connectivity is provided to students, staff and faculty.

Transportation

The institute has arranged buses for transportation of students and college staff. The institute has provided one college bus for faculty and students to commute from Palanpur. Many S.T and private buses are also available to reach campus. 

Cafeteria

The central cafeteria of JPI offers faculty and students a place to enjoy their meals. The canteen serves a wide variety of snacks as well as North and South Indian foods.
