About Magadh Mahila College

Magadh Mahila College, established in 1946, is affiliated with Patna University and has been accredited B+ grade by NAAC. All the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the institute have been recognized by Patna University. In order to take admission to undergraduate 3-year degree courses, candidates must have a minimum of 45% at the Intermediate Examination from a recognized board. Admission to the B.Com course is done on the basis of Merit-Based. For postgraduate courses, candidates are selected on the basis of entrance exams and interviews at Magadh Mahila College.

The institute started four 3- Months Certificate Courses and two 2- Months Certificate Courses in German and Computer application. Apart from this, a 6- Month Certificate Course in Japanese Language Proficiency was also started in the Academic Session 2019-20. The institute also provides Wi-Fi facilities and has a clean and green campus which attracts people to visit the institution.

Magadh Mahila College Key Points

The college was honored with the 'Best College Award' in 2014, by the Chief Minister of Bihar, and the 'Excellent Institution of Higher Education For Girls in Bihar' award in 2016.
A well-qualified and dedicated faculty mentor guides the students to excel in academic as well as cultural disciplines. It has a team of 49 well-trained permanent faculty members.
In 2019, the institute started a new Japanese language proficiency course of six months duration.
The college has a huge alumni base spread across the world.
The college also provides its students with various extracurricular activities like sports, music, NCC along with the celebration of various festivals.
Several leading companies like TCS, Wipro, SAP, Private Banks, etc. visit the campus for placement.

Magadh Mahila College Placement

Fee Waiver Scheme: The State Government provides a fee waiver scheme to help the economically poor yet meritorious students.
Education Loans: Education loans are provided to the needy and meritorious students from the Nationalized Banks at reasonable rates of interest and the loans are repayable after the completion of the degree/diploma.
Financial Help: Academically intelligent and poor students are helped to acquire higher education. They are provided with financial help in the form of tuition fee waivers. Relaxation in tuition fees is provided to the merit position holders in the qualifying examinations and position holders in the University examinations.
