About Motihari College of Engineering - [MCE]

Motihari College of Engineering was established in 1980, it is a government college which is fully funded by the Government of Bihar. The college is affiliated with the Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The college currently offers B.Tech courses in 4 different disciplines which are Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute also plans to start the M.Tech program in Computer Science & Engineering from July 2020 onwards after receiving mandatory approval from the AICTE.

Motihari College of Engineering Placement

The college has a dedicated placement cell to look after the employment needs of the students. It provides training and prepares them for the industry. It also conducts pre-placement activities like seminars, conferences, workshops, mock interviews to boost confidence among students. Central Library: The library is fully air-conditioned and has a rich collection of 22404 books, various journals, daily magazines, newspapers, etc.
Computer Centre: The institute has a computer centre to fulfill the basic needs of the students and the faculty. The computer centre has a total of 150 computers at the students’ disposal.
Hostel: Separate hostels are available for boys and girls inside the campus. The facility includes spacious rooms, periodic maintenance of rooms, and hygienic foods.
Gym: The institute has a gym where the students and staff can keep themselves fit.
Medical Facilities- The college provides medical facilities and also organizes health awareness programs.
Sports Facilities: For sports enthusiasts, the college has the infrastructure for both indoor and outdoor games like Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Basketball.
Apart from this, the college also has parking spots, purified drinking water, many recreational clubs, guest house, and banking facility inside the campus.
