Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic (NRAM) was the first Polytechnic college in south Kanara District and it got recognized as Government Aided Institution from 2001. The institution offers 3-year diploma degree in 5 branches of Engineering. Besides these, the college also offers Diploma in Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology. The college admits students on the basis of marks obtained in SSLC/ equivalent examination. NRAM Udupi Admission
The college admits students on the basis of meritorious ranking obtained in SSLC or equivalent examination.
However, for Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology, the interested students are required to come for an interview. Soon after the interview they need to pay the prescribed fee. They also need to pay Registration fee of INR 350/- at Nitte by cash and submit the documents asked i.e., xerox of marksheet, birth certificate, passport size photograph along with the application form.
