It is one of the 27 leading educational institutes of national and international repute, guided by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). RVIM is accredited by NAAC with ‘ A+’ grade and is affiliated to the Bengaluru Central University
RVIM offers a two-year, full-time MBA programme that is affiliated to Bengaluru Central University, approved by AICTE and recognised by the Government of Karnataka. Candidates can take admission to this course through government quota seats or management quota seats. Exam accepted for admission through government quota seats is PGCET , 50 per cent of seats are filled based on marks scored in this exam. The remaining 50 per cent are filled through management quota and exams accepted for the same are MAT, PGCET, ATMA, KMAT, CAT and CMAT. Final selection is based on a candidate's performance in the written test, GD and PI round conducted by the Institute Apart from the MBA, the B-School also offers value-added courses to the students.
