Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science was established in 1986 and has grown to be one of the biggest self financing institutes. It is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and was accorded autonomous status in 2004 by UGC and re-accredited in 2014 with 'A' Grade. It has been ranked as the fourth best college in Coimbatore.

RVSCAS Coimbatore Admission 2024
The college offers various UG, PG and Doctoral courses. The admission to these courses is granted based on the regulations prescribed by the UGC and Bharathiar University.
- For UG courses, selection is made on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 examinations.
- For PG courses and research programmes, entrance tests are conducted by BU University or National level examinations such as CAT scores are considered. Entrance exams are followed by interviews conducted by the college.
Admission Procedure:
- Students are requested to fill the application form either online or in person.
- The application fees can be paid in the form of DD from any Nationalized Bank/Challan (Bank of India) to be drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore”.
