About Saveetha College of Architecture and Design - [SCAD]
Saveetha College of Architecture and Design (SCAD) introduce new architecture curriculum with a Design Studio at its core. SCAD put emphasis on practical experience, innovative expression, research, critical thinking, and creative exploration. SCAD is affiliated to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai.
SCAD provides a flexible system for students giving them lot of opportunities and choice to choose their subjects and electives. A wide range of electives from new technologies, art appreciation, ideation, interior design, theater, heritage, urban studies, rural studies, journalism, music, sports, and research are provided across the course. Collaborations with International Universities provide the possibility of exchange studios, workshops, and travel to new cultures.

Saveetha College of Architecture and Design (SCAD) Courses
SCAD offers a five-year program B.arch which is approved by the Council of Architecture.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 examinations with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as well as at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
- In addition, students must have cleared the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the CoA (Council of Architecture).
