GACC Indore Admission 2024

The college invites applications for all the programs from Undergraduate to Ph.D. As the name suggests Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Govt. Arts and Commerce College (GACC) is especially noted for Arts and Commerce, but the other subjects such as BBA and MBA are also equally treated and taught with great care by the extremely qualified and professional teaching staff and experts.

The admission process of the college is very simple and lucid. It is discussed below –

Collect the application form from the office and fill it carefully. The necessary documents should be attached with the application form before submitting it. You also have to pay the desired application fees.
Candidates can also apply online for submitting an application form. They have to visit the official website of the college and fill the form with requested application fees.
The selection process will be started by the college and shortlisted candidates will be notified by the college. The selection process is based on the merit in the Common Entrance Test (CET) arranged by the college.

GACC Indore Placement

GACC, Indore has decent placement infrastructure to boost up the career of the students in the most effective and flexible way. To manage the placement process, the college has a separate cell namely The Vivekananda Career Guidance Training and Placement Cell that came to operation in the year 2005. They teach the students technical skills and analytical skills along with Personality development for the corporate sector.

GACC Indore Scholarships

As per the rules imposed by the Central Government and the State Government of Madhya Pradesh, GACC, Indore provides scholarships for the students who are financially feeble. They also help the students who belong to a comparatively unsteady social background by offering scholarships in the shape of financial assistance. But it is quite evident that to obtain such scholarships, academic performance is a major factor.

Following are the scholarships offered in the college under various schemes:

Post matric Scholarship: It is a special type of scholarship designed exclusively for SC and ST candidates who are the domestic residents of the Madhya Pradesh State. But this scholarship is restricted to the family income of INR 6 LPA for SC candidates. On the other hand, there is no such restriction for ST candidates.
Madhya Pradesh Govt. Welfare Scheme: This Govt. scheme includes 7 different other schemes for the students who live in the Madhya Pradesh State. Some of them are – Gaon Ki Beti, Vikramaditya Scheme, Scholarships for Differently Abled Students.
Free Studentship: The Government of Madhya Pradesh had launched ‘Medhavi Yojna’ in the year 2017-18 to assist the students more effectively in a benevolent manner. The students who have cleared their 10+2 from Madhya Pradesh secondary Board, Bhopal with 70% marks and CBSE and ICSE from Delhi having 85% marks are qualified for Free studentship under this Scheme. However, the family income of such students must not be more than INR 6 LPA as the final condition.

Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Govt. Arts and Commerce College facilitates various benefits for its students. The facilities offered by the college are as follows:

Library: The College has two well-equipped and furnished libraries in their main campus building and the other one is located in their management building separately. The libraries consist of over 2lacks printed books and more than 7 lack books of different languages by 3 lack authors. The libraries also offer the apt scope of E-Library.
Computer lab: The College occupies 2 well maintained and modern computer labs in their main campus building inclusive of 51 computers. The labs are properly connected to super fast internet facilities and properly armed with relevant software for different students falling under different courses.
English Language Lab: There is no denying the fact that good command over English language is the essential element in this world. The college has recently established English Language Lab in the campus building with a vision to improve the English and educate the advanced skills of the students. The students can learn and practice every pros and cons of English benefitted by E-Learning.
Yogic Health Counseling Center: GACC Indore has always channeled a special importance towards Yoga. However, the college has opened this Yogic Health Counseling Center to make a balance between psychological and emotional factors of the students.
