Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) has the best placement cell compared to other colleges in Darjeeling. Siliguri Institute of Technology Scholarship

- Transport: Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) has its own transport facility for the students. There are personal buses of the college and the students can avail of this service to go to the institution and return home as well. These buses run along some specific routes through the city.
- Hostel: The College has their excellent hostel facility for its students. There are separate hostels for the boys and girls candidates. But the hostels are specially designed for the candidates for the first year in the college. The hostels have a total capacity of 100 girl students and 50 male students.
