Sinhgad College of Engineering Commonly called SCOE. It is situated in Vadgaon, Pune. It was built in 1996. This private institution of higher education is authoritatively certified with Savitribai Phule Pune University. All the programs offered at the institute are the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved. 

The institute provides 4-year undergraduate engineering programs. Sinhgad College of Engineering offers 27 specializations across four courses, with eight under the BE course, 14 under the ME course, one under MBA, and four under Ph.D. The institute has almost 6 engineering departments. SCOE Admissions 

Candidates who wish to pursue BE/BTech at Sinhgad College of Engineering need to give the entrance exam- MHT CET. 

Admission to MTech courses is entrance based. The aspirants must have valid marks in the GATE examination.

For MBA admissions, valid marks in CAT/MAT/MAH-CET are required. 

For selection in Ph.D., a candidate must GATE or UGC NET qualified.

How to Apply for B.E?

Candidate needs to clear the entrance exams first for taking admission in B.E. The entrance exam either is JEE-Main or MHT-CET.

How to apply for JEE- Main?

  • Firstly the candidate needs to visit the official website of JEE Mains.
  • Then the candidate needs to register for the online application form. 
  • Candidate gets a system generated application number which he/she needs to note for giving an exam.
  • After the candidate needs to create a password l Log in again and fill out the form
  • Then he/she needs to upload scanned images of photographs and signature
  • After filling all the details, the candidate has to provide a fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI, or Paytm.
  • At last, the printout of the application form should be taken for future use.

How to Apply for MHT- CET?

Candidates enrolling for B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:

  • Firstly the candidate needs to fill out the online application form at the DTE website.
  • Then he/she has to upload scanned copies of necessary documents.
  • A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
  • At last, the printout is taken.

How to Apply for M.E?

Candidates enrolling for the M.E course have to take the GATE. Following are the steps for applying for GATE:

  • Visit the official website
  • Then the candidate needs to register by entering the candidate’s name, email ID, and mobile number.
  • Then the enrollment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number after the form gets filled.
  • Then the candidate needs to fill out the application form.
  • A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
  • Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

Counseling:

Those who qualify the GATE will be required to undergo counseling via CAP:

  • Registered candidates can log in here.
  • Fill out the application
  • Upload the required documents
  • Pay a fee of 1,000 INR online
  • Keep a printout of the application form for future reference

How to Apply? 

  • Fill online exam forms by visiting the official website of particular exams like MHT CET, DTE, GATE, etc.
  • When to fill the form candidates need to pay the application fee, which can be done in the online mode.
  • After the exam is done, the college will release an admission notification to call the eligible candidates for registration.
  • The eligible candidate needs to fill the form of application and submit the necessary documents along with it.
  • The college sends the confirmation via email.

  • Library: SCOE has a vast and wide-ranging collection of books, databases, journals, CDs, , audio-visual aids, e-books, DVDs, course material, project reports of earlier examination papers. Students get different books of their choice from the library. It includes the video lectures and presentations by renowned professors of IITs and also Foreign Universities through the Unified Library Server. It has an institutional membership of DELNET, INFLIBNET.
  • Computer Center: Computing facilities are provided with the latest configuration and an Internet connection for the use of students and staff of the college
  • Auditoriums: Sinhgad Institutes have big auditoriums, conference halls. These are fortified with Hi-tech audio-video gadgets and are intended for a huge seating capacity for a host of functions and events that are accompanied occasionally.
  • Hostel: The university provides hostel facilities for the students who are unable to do up-down from their premises. In the hostel, students have also provided food which is prepared in the hostel mess.
