Srinivas Institute of Management Studies [SIMS] was established in the year 1999 under the banner of Srinivas Group of Colleges. The college was set up to build enthusiastic and quality professionals in the field of Management, Information Technology and Social Work.

Srinivas Institute of Management Studies is affiliated to Mangalore University and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute offers two Post-Graduation Courses; namely, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
