Swaminarayan University Campus Facilities

The culturally vibrant, growth-driven, lush-green, and wonderful campus of Swaminarayan University is situated on 60 acres of land, away from the chaos of the city. It has all the required basic and advanced amenities for students and teachers to use. Additionally, its location further provides limitless opportunities and internship options to aspiring individuals. Further, the availability of Wi-Fi in the whole premises allows people to stay connected and makes the overall teaching-learning process much easier. Last but not least, SU has enough arrangements for research and innovation. 

Advanced Classrooms: SU has developed spacious, well-ventilated, and technology-enabled lecture halls on its campus. The end goal is to make the overall teaching-learning process more effective and help teachers deliver the course in the best way possible. All classes are equipped with audio-visual facilities and overhead projectors. Further, computers are available for faculty, and staff members. Then there is a dedicated ERP section that deals with all intuitions, students, faculty-related data, and other information.

Auditorium: The University has a state-of-the-art Auditorium to smoothly conduct events and activities like guest lectures, workshops, webinars, conferences, seminars, cultural fests, and training programs in association with corporate people. This facility has a seating capacity of 250 people. Every facility ranging from a public speaking system, projectors, whiteboards, screens, internet connectivity, audio-video systems, etc. is available here. 

Hostels: To provide a home-life ambiance to students away from their homes, the SU has full-fledged and well-developed accommodation facilities on its campus for both boys and girls. These hostels have all basic and advanced amenities including a Garden, internet, Gymnasium, and well-furnished air-conditioned/non-air-conditioned rooms equipped with beds, wardrobes, attached bathrooms, study tables, and chairs. The well-being of students is monitored by an efficient and qualified custodian. Apart from this, all buildings have an R/O water supply, a 24x7 power backup, and an in-house mess facility to provide hygienic and delicious food to individuals.

Cafeteria: A full-fledged, air-conditioned, and aesthetically developed canteen also exists on the university premises. Both students as well as staff members can avail themselves of good quality, freshly cooked, and delicious meals and other eateries at an affordable cost. This place is also one of the favorite spots for students to meet with their peers, and seniors post classes. It has a seating capacity of 50 people at a time.

Sports: SU has big playgrounds and an indoor room for students to play and enjoy a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports activities such as Table tennis, Carom, Chess, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Athletics, and Cricket. In addition, there is a Badminton Court. The end goal is to enhance the teamwork and leadership skills of students and keep them physically and mentally healthy.

Gym: There is a well-established Gymnasium in the University, and it is mainly used by students, faculty, and staff people to work out under the supervision of experienced and qualified instructors. All kinds of latest weight machines, treadmills, ellipticals, squat racks, and power cages are installed here.

Computer Labs: This facility has been developed by the University to keep students digitally proficient. The latest computer systems with required configurations, software and applications are installed in the lab. All systems are connected through high-speed internet. Teachers also use this lab to carry out practicals, conduct online research, and improve their pedagogies by availing digital learning sources.

Library: The Swaminarayan University has established separate physical and Digital Libraries in each college. These knowledge centers have ample space for reading, and all are home to a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, newspapers, magazines, research papers, previous year papers, and other study materials. Overall ambiance is another key factor that attracts students to this place. All operations of the library are automated, and other services including printing, internet, and computers are available in each.

Transport: SU has a fleet of buses to ensure hassle-free pickup and drop off of students and staff members from nearby areas of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Additionally, the AMTS service is also available from major parts of the city.

Parking and Security: There is a separate space in the university to park 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers. It is used by students, teachers, and visitors. Apart from this, the whole campus has CCTV surveillance, 24x7 security service as well as fire safety.
