The New College

The New College, Established in the year 1971 on 15^th June, the new college began offering Arts, Commerce and Science programs in the year 1975. The college is affiliated to the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It received recognition by University Grants Commission on 30^th April, 1976 under section 2(f) and 12B. NAAC gave accreditation to the college with B+ Grade on 3^rd May, 2004. Located in the heart of the city, the college is just 2km away from the very famous Mahalaxmi Temple.

A Multidisciplinary institute, the college offers programs in Arts, Commerce, Science, Information Technology and Management faculties. It offers both conventional and professional courses to the students. In the year 2001, it began the B.C.S. course, B.B.A. in 2007 and B.C.A. in 2008. The objective of the college is to offer complete personal, intellectual as well as physical development of the students along with academic focus. Since its inception, the college has been transforming students into cultivated and cultured citizens who can face the challenges of the future without any hassles.
