YSR Engineering College Scholarships

The college does not offer any scholarship schemes but the state of Andhra Pradesh offers several scholarship schemes for students who wish to take admission in the engineering college. The scholarship schemes that can be availed by students are as follows:

Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Community Students, Andhra Pradesh - This scholarship is provided to students above 10+ 2 for UG and PG courses. A stipend of INR 240 to INR 960 per month for 10 months is provided through this scholarship.
Gayathri Scheme for Academic Excellence (GS-AE) Andhra Pradesh - Meritorious students of 10th, 12th, and UG students can apply for this scholarship scheme.
Combined Counselling Board (CCB) Scholarship, Andhra Pradesh - Candidates who have a minimum of 33% to 50% in the qualifying examination are eligible for this scholarship scheme. This scholarship is only available to students of Andhra Pradesh.

YSR Engineering College Facilities

The college is situated on a 150-acre campus, and it offers sophisticated facilities. Candidates are given all the necessary facilities to make life on campus comfortable for good learning. The facilities offered are as follows:

SuperComputing Facilities: A 'semi-arid-zonal Atmospheric Research Centre (SARC) was established in Aug. 2008 under a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bengaluru at SARC. It is a high-performance computer with 20 TB storage and is equipped with weather forecast and also allied science applications. Modern meteorological remote sensors are deployed to understand monsoon, thunderstorms, and climate change.
Bank: ATM facilities are offered within the vicinity of the campus. Candidates can withdraw cash at any time as per their convenience.
Canteen: Canteen facilities are available for students for all the nourishment they require for the day. 2 separate cafeteria facilities are offered at the University.
Engineering Section: The laboratory is launched to provide a platform for university students to enhance their language proficiency. It is also proposed to offer 'English Proficiency Course' to the students of other colleges by fixing the nominal fee.
Health Centre: A health center is set up for all kinds of emergencies. Medicines, bandages, and any type of medical assistance is provided at this facility for students.
Sports Facilities: Sports facilities are offered at the college for students who have a flair for athleticism. Students are sent to various tournaments representing the college.
Transport facilities: These are offered to students within the vicinity and surrounding of the college. The University provides a conveyance facility commuting from Kadapa city to the campus and back. There is a special transport facility for ladies and the staff as well.
