Rayagada Autonomous College Admission 2024

The admission to all the courses is done through Students Academic Management Systems (SAMS). The procedure of admission is carried out through computer and internet known as e-admission.

Candidates need to fill the CAF and submit it online. After the completion of application procedure, validation of documents will be done by validator team. Selection of students is on the basis of their merit. The intimation letter & selection list will be released on the official website of Higher Education Department, Orissa Govt.

Post-Matric Scholarship: ST and SC students are eligible for applying post-matric scholarship after admission by collecting the prescribed format available at office.
National Hindi Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students who study Hindi as Optional/ MIL/ Honours/ Pass subject
Government Scholarships: Various types of government scholarships are available like junior merit scholarship, National Scholarship, senior merit scholarship, National Loan Scholarship, Poverty-cum-merit scholarship, senior merit scholarship etc.

Hostels - The College provides well-furnished hostels for both male and female students. This is allotted based on merit and good conduct of the students.
Library - More than 36,000 reference books and textbooks are available in the library. The library timing is from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on the working days.
RAYCOS - Known as the Rayagada College Co-Operative Society Ltd. started in 1976. This society helps in the purchase of stationery, books, and other articles required by the student.

Ans: The College does not have any official Training and Placement cell.

Ans: Students are required to fill in the application form online. However, an offline copy with the affixed photograph, student and guardian signature, and other requirements should be mailed to the nearest SAMS center along with the application fee.

Ans: Subject to seats remaining vacant, the college conducts a spot round counseling on the SAMS online counseling portal itself.

Ans: There is no such annual scheme. However in the past, the college is known to have provided laptops to students with outstanding meritorious performance in academics.

Ques: What is the weight-age of seats for the reserved category?

Ans. 8% of the sanctioned seat strength is reserved for SC candidates, 12% is reserved for ST candidates. 3% is reserved for PWD candidates, 1% for wards of ex-servicemen, and 1% for wards of Serving Defense Personnel. 5% of the seats are reserved for admission of Odia students from the bordering states. 2% seats are reserved for children of Martyrs.
