Shivaji University Distance Education Facilities

Shivaji University boasts a campus of 853 acres which houses a number of prominent facilities for the use of the students and faculty. Some of them are as follows:

• E-Learning: The institute also provides the Distance Learning students with a number of courses that can be accessed online. This facility includes online video lectures on all the subjects studied by them, as well as audios, downloadable text materials and assignments. There also courses that aid in the preparation for various entrance exams that are made available to the desiring students.
• Laboratories: SUK also has a number of well-developed labs for the students that allow them to extend their practical knowledge of various subjects. These are well maintained and managed by the concerned faculty.  
• Library: The institute has quite a prestigious library of 10,601 sq. km. There are a vast number of books, documents, journals and databases that aid the efforts of the students as well as the faculty. The library hosts 2.9 lakhs books, 283 journals, and 5000+ E-journals. There are also Xerox, scanning and printing services made available for the use of the students and faculty.
