Training Ship Rahaman is also known as TSRA, is one of the oldest maritime training establishments of the country. The academy also grasps the sanction by the Ministry of Shipping Road Transport, Directorate General of Shipping, and Highways Government of India. The T S Rahaman can also be known as Training Ship Rahaman which is one of the oldest Maritime Training Establishment of the country (India). The T S Rahaman is certified by ISO 9001: 2008, approved by the “Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping Road Transport and Highways Government of India”.

B. Sc – Nautical Science	Duration: 3 Years Eligibility: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry,Maths (PCM) with not less than 60% aggregate marks in PCM from a University of Mumbai recognised board. Should have passed with not less than 50% marks in English as a subject, at either 10th or 12th standard. Age should not be more than 25. Must be medically fit for sea-service. Selection Criteria: Meri list as per marks in 12th, subject to a medical fitness test+entrance test+ personal interview+medical fitness test	INR 7,45,500
B.Sc. in Maritime Hospitality Studies	Duration: 3 Years Eligibility: Pass in 10+2 with Minimum 40%, and minimum 40% in English. Age should not be less than 17 or more than 21. Should have a eye sight of 6/12 in each eye without external aids Selection Criteria: Merit list as per Marks in 12th, subject to a medical fitness test	INR 5,97,800
Pre Sea- General Purpose Training Course	Duration: 25 Weeks Eligibility: Indian Nationals desiring to enrol for the 25 weeks General Purpose Rating Training Course. 10th standard pass from government recognised board with subjects English, Maths & Science with 40% aggregate. English 40% at 10th or 12th but with subjects English,Maths & Science at 10th. Or Eligibility: Pass in 2-Year ITI course (Fiiter/Machinist /Mechanic /Welder /Turner) approved by DVET; with minimum 40% aggregate marks in final year of ITI & minimum 40% in English in 10th or 12th. The Ratings should have distance vision 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in other eye and normal vision shall be tested by Ishihara test chart. The Ratings should not be less than 17.5 years nor be over 25 years on the date of commencement of training and age limit 27 years for candidates holding a degree or a diploma.	INR 2,39,000

Marine Museum – The college has the museum facility to display the rich maritime heritage of India dating back to over 4000 years through several pictorial exhibits in the galleries devoted to Pre Mauryan, Andhra, Kushana, Chola, Pre Moghul, Moghul, Maratha and British periods.
Basic facilities – The college offers the basic facilities like classroom and canteen for the students. The campus area has the lively environment.
Computer Labs – Students can practice the assignments and other research work using the computer labs.
Library – The facilities provide the library services with the access to all new and informative books.
Laboratory - The foundation has the laboratory facilities for all the medical and science related research work and experiments.
Medical – The foundation provides the basic first aid and has the medical facilities for all the students and staff, in case of any emergency.
