Sinhgad Academy of Engineering - [SAE] Kondhawa

Sinhgad Academy of Engineering - SAE Pune was established in the year 2005. Sinhgad Academy of Engineering is a technical education institute in the city of Kondhwa, Pune, India. The institute is managed by the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES).

• The college takes its name from the nearby Maratha fort. It has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and recognized by the AICTE. The institute has also been awarded an "A" Grade by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State, and Mumbai.

    • Prof S P Deshmukh – “Sensorless XY Flexure mechanism”  sanctioned by DST of Rs.13 Lakhs
    • Prof S P Deshmukh – “Sensorless XY Flexure mechanism for space application”  sanctioned by ISRO of Rs.14 Lakhs

Placements:-

The Sinhgad legacy comes into play here. Good placements for Computers, E&TC and Mechanical, with around 80-90% of the eligible students being placed. IT recorded 100% placements among those eligible for the previous year. Accenture, L&T, Cognizant, I flex, Infosys take most of the students. The average package is around 3 lac per annum.

Alumni:-

The Third Alumni Function of Sinhgad Academy of Engineering was arranged on the marvellous lawns of SIBAR, Singhad Kondhwa Campus Around 172 Alumni Celebrities shared the beautiful evening with their then college mates and teaching staff and added their functional contributions to multifacet events full of departmental interactions, feedback on industrial and market current scenario etc.

SAE library is rich in collection which consist of Text books, Reference books, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Data books, E-books, Journals, Technical Magazines, General books, Books for competitive exams etc.

Sports:-

Sports’ is an integral part of the mega event “Sinhgad Karandak”. It includes intercampus matches for Cricket, Football, Volley ball, Throw ball, Table Tennis, Chess, Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis, Swimming and Athletics. Students of our college also participate in various intercollegiate and inter-University sports events.

Cultural:-

College helps such activities by means of financial, infra-structure and moral support. Such activities are “Firodiya Karandak”, “Purushottam Karandak”, “Verve”, “Harmony”, “Raj Karandak”, Vinodottam Karandak”, Suman Karandak” etc. where our students leave a memorable mark and set a bench mark for the upcoming talent.

The students enjoy different events like dance, singing, fashion show, Mr & Ms Sinhgad and street play under the renowned mega event “Sinhgad Karandak”.
