GGIT, Unnao provides scholarships to various meritorious and needy students. As per U.P. Govt. order, the students whose family income is up to Rs. 2,00,000 per annum can avail scholarships under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. To avail of scholarships, Eligible candidates are required to submit the online application once it is made available on the official website of GGIT.

Facilities offered at GGIT are as follows: 

• The institute comprises various clubs such as PR, Print Media, Social Media, Networking, Cultural, Skit, Play, Decoration, Sports Spiritual, Literaray, Polical and many more. 
• Students at the college are housed in well-furnished hostels. There are double and triple seated rooms in the hostels. Every hostel complex has a dedicated mess with a fully functional kitchen and dining area that serves wholesome, hygienic meals.
• A well-designed and furnished cafeteria is useful for intense, amicable, lighthearted, and serious conversations, debates, and just enjoyable get-togethers. The canteen at GGIT serves hot and cold beverages, snacks, and food items to enhance the atmosphere and add energy, zest, and humor to events that take place there.
• It provides faculty and students with transportation for extremely low costs. To pick up and drop off the students, the vehicles travel various routes through Unnao and other parts of Kanpur.
