Guru Nanak Girls College scholarships are offered based on different criteria; need and merit. Scholarships offered at GNGC are Single Girl Child, Senior Citizen Scholarship Scheme, etc.
The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development has introduced a new scholarship scheme titled “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students”. The main aim of the scholarships is to provide financial assistance to deserving students with low-income families so that they can meet their day to day expenses while pursuing higher education. Also, students are eligible to apply for government, state, national, UGC, AICTE scholarships.
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students:
- Eligibility Criteria- Candidates securing more than 80% percentile in the relative stream from a recognised board and not belonging to a creamy layer are eligible to apply.

Note: As per the data available on the official website for last year, fifteen students were awarded scholarships worth Rs. 43,200 by Sri Guru Harkrishan Society and five students were awarded scholarships worth Rs. 15,000 under Senior Citizen Scholarship Scheme.
