Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices India (IGMPI) was registered as a non-profit organisation under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It is affiliated with Life Sciences Sector Skills Council (SSC) and Food Industry Sector Skills Council of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and approved by Quality Council of India (QCI). The primary mission of IGMPI is to fill a gap of accessibility between students and teachers in the areas of Pharma and healthcare GMO, QA & QC, Regulatory aspects, Clinical Research, IPR, Good Laboratory Practice.

IGMPI Courses

IGMPI offers Postgraduate, Executive Diploma and Industry Certificate Programs in various fields of Pharma and Food. The programs offered at IGMPI are available in three different modes to enable students with high-quality learning and training. IGMPI Research

At IGMPI, there are numerous opportunities in research areas for graduates, postgraduates and even working professionals. The institute keeps on inventing new methods in the field of food and healthcare fields. The institute is putting its emphasis on improving the quality of food by implementing new methods. Research is being done on the development of products as well as to measure the benefits and cost. To make the research more experimental, the institute has well-equipped labs to cope-up with the intensity of research being performed such as HPLC, GLC, cooling centrifuge, deep freezer. The institute uses practical based approach to provide hands-on experience to the students which will help them to achieve maximum knowledge.

IGMPI Scholarship

IGMPI has EWS scheme to assist the students who are academically bright but financially not stable. It provides fee concession to the students who belong to ‘Economically Weaker Section (EWS)’ of the society. Under the scheme, a concession is provided to the applicants under the following categories:

Those students can avail 20% concession whose family income is INR 1 lakh or less per annum.
The students from SC/ST background can avail 10% fee concession and will be required to show the relevant documents. There is no concession available for Executive Diploma Program and Industry Certificate Program.
The applicants belonging to the Ex-serviceman or Defence Personnel can avail 10% fee concession.

It also believes in imparting quality education. The institute awards the scholarship to the meritorious students based on their academic performance. The given requirements are mandatory to avail the scholarship facility:

It will be given on the first-come-first-serve basis and students can avail 50% concession in total tuition fee.
The eligible candidates should produce relevant documents and their family income should be less than INR 6 lakhs.

IGMPI Placement

The institute takes the initiative to groom its students and students can participate in the placement process on or off-campus. The institute has witnessed the participation of 1500 students who are now working with healthcare and pharmaceutical giants like Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Cipla, Fortune, Mother Dairy and many more. The Highest package offered is 5 lakhs and the Average package is 3 Lakhs.
