Library: The university has a proud library system which includes Central Library, Salt Lake Campus Library, around 36 departmental libraries and a total number of 23 libraries which are attached with Schools & Centers under the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Law & Management. The central library is equipped well with a monstrous stock of resources. The library has an internet connection so that students can avail e-resources too. The central library of Jadavpur University comprises a number of 6198 books, 11762 journals, 24 resource databases, 2 talking books and 13742 question papers.

Hostel: The university provides accommodation facilities for both boys & girls. A total number of 13 hostels are there at the campus premises, 4 for girls & 9 for boys hostels with provision for accommodating over 1600 students. There is an exclusive hostel for research scholars. All the amenities of the hostel come at a feasible price which is INR 3,000.

Guest House: Jadavpur University has a guest house with 90 double bedrooms, 3 deluxe rooms, 2 single rooms, with all the required maintenance.

Health Center: The University Health Centre is located on the campus. It is attended by a full-time Medical Superintendent and part-time qualified Specialists in General Medicine, Eye, E.N.T., Skin, Dental and Pathology and a part-time Lady Doctor. All the specialists visit the health center for two hours for three days a week and the Lady Doctor attends the center on all working days for three hours a day.
