KGMU Facilities

King George’s Medical University provides high-end amenities for residents and faculty on campus to enable comfortable living. Some of the facilities are as follows:

• Library: The library is the hub of academic student life on campus and is stocked with more than 35075 books, 2690 book banks and thousands of CDs, journals and reports. 
• Hostel Facilities: The University provides separate accommodation for both boys and girls. All hostels comprise the main office, security room, and a guest house.
• Medical Aid: Student’s Health Care Centre is housed on campus with a full-time Medical Superintendent and a team of qualified, efficient doctors who are always present in the healthcare centre.
• Cafeteria: KGMU has one canteen with over 200 students seating capacity, with a very chill environment, where tea/coffee and various snack options are available. 
• Computer Labs: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and all students can access a range of services across our entire campus including all computer labs and student hostels.
• Sexual Harassment Complaint Cell: In the college premises itself, there is a gender sexual harassment cell, where students can complain about any mishappening or any other related problems.
• Sports Facilities: Outdoor and Indoor sports are offered to students. The university encourages students to participate in inter-collegiate sports events.

KGMU Girls Hostel

KGMU offers separate hostels for boys and girls. Students can opt for single or double-seated rooms as per their convenience and room availability. KGMU’s girls hostel has a badminton court surrounded by plants and trees. Students can play badminton during their free time for recreational purposes. The hostel also has a newspaper stand where students can access the newspaper every day

The hostel has a mess inside with comfortable seating that serves healthy and hygienic food for students. KGMU hostel also offers a common reading room with tables and chairs. Adjacent to which meditation space is present. Outside the reading room, there are plenty of green plants that create a serene atmosphere.

KGMU aims to create a space and comfortable environment for students to stay on campus. Students along with their peers can experience the hostel life to the fullest with all the provided facilities.
