Ques. What are the Eligibility criteria for admission into KMCH College?

Ans. The eligibility criteria at KMCH College of Pharmacy is as follows:

Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidate must have passed HSC or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics (For candidates for SC / ST is not less than 35% of the aggregate is very important)
Vocational school certificates / National Open School are not eligible to enter.

Ques. How is Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate)?

Ans. Pharm.D (PB) program is a doctoral program Professional Pharmacy. B. Pharm graduates will be accepted as a candidate for lateral entry into the 4th year Pharm.D program and the duration of the course is three academic years (2 yrs of study and 1 year internship or residency).

Ques. What is the intake capacity for the Pharm.D and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate)?

Ans. Total revenue for the Pharm.D program shall be as determined by the Pharmacy Council of India from time to time and when it is restricted to the intake of 30 students to 10 students for the Pharm.D & Pharm D (PB) per academic year.

Ques. In what way Pharm.D differ from regular B.Pharm?

Ans. Both B.Pharm and Pharm D are qualified to run the pharmacy profession under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. B. Pharm is a course 4 yrs and 6 yrs Pharm D is of course included one year of clinical internship. components of pharmacy practice in all areas of pharmacy professional services such as Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy, clinical research, regulatory, formulation development, quality control are emphasized in the Pharm D program, and after Pharm D professional qualification are qualified to do a Ph.D. program.
