MLSM Admissions

Admissions to the college are based on merit or an entrance test.

For B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA and B.Ed admission is on merit basis. For M.Sc, selection is based on an entrance examination conducted by HP University. Whereas, for BEP and B.P.Ed, selections will be based on performance in Physical Efficiency Test, academics and sports achievements.

MLSM Scholarships

The college grants scholarships to deserving and meritorious students. Students can also avail scholarship schemes and stipends provided by the State and Central Governments. The college also offers fee concessions. Given below is a list of scholarships:

Maharishi Balmiki Chattarvriti Yojna: Awarded to a Himachali girl student belonging to a Balmiki family
Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship: For economically backward classes
Vikas Charitable Trust Sundarnagar: For needy and meritorious Students
College Scholarship: The college awards 5 scholarships Rs. 2000 each in the fields of Academics, Sports and Cultural Activities to meritorious students.
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST students: Awarded to those students whose family income is upto 2 lakhs

MLSM Facilities

Hostel: There is a hostel for girls within the campus. The hostel has a total of 27 furnished rooms. The rooms are allocated to 3 students based on sharing. Cleaning is done by the housekeeping team regularly. The hostel offers mess facilities.
Library: The Library has a vast collection of approximately 39,750 books in the subjects of arts, commerce, science, physical education, education, computer science, management. It also has general or reference books.
Sports Facilities: A spacious playground with equipment for both major and minor games is owned by the college. The sports ground also has 400 mt. Athletic Track and a Cricket Turf. Over the years, the university has won trophies in Football, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, and Cricket.
Bank & ATM: There is a Central Bank of India branch within the campus and an ATM booth.
Dispensary: To provide students with first aid, the college has a pharmacy with a committed, trained, and skilled assistant.
Canteen: The campus has a canteen where students can get snacks, soft drinks etc at reasonable rates
Book Store: The College has a bookshop on its campus where students can buy books at a discount.
Wifi: The entire campus is wifi enabled.
