Annamalai University Selection Procedure

For all the undergraduate courses and diploma programs, the selection procedure is done on a merit basis - marks obtained in intermediate(10+2) except B.Pharm and B.Tech. Admission to B.Tech and B.Pharm is done on entrance based followed by an interview
PG Selections vary courses to course –
- MA, M.Sc., and M.Com admissions are done on a merit basis - marks obtained in graduation.
- Selection procedure of M.P.Ed is based on a physical fitness test followed by a personal interview
- M.Ed selection is based on a merit basis followed by an interview
- Admission to MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, and MCA programs is done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying degree merit, entrance exam and personal interview.
The selection procedure of M.Phil/ Ph.D. aspirants is done on the basis of the Written Test conducted by the university followed by a Personal Interview. NET/ GATE qualifiers can exempt a Ph.D. entrance test.

Annamalai University DDE

Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education provides more than 500 courses. It offers education to those people who are unable to attend the campus but who desire to study. AU DDE offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Interior Design, Hotel Management, and Catering Technology, Retail Management, Twinning, Health Science, a Commonwealth Youth Program, Yoga, Music, Fire and Safety, Pharmaceutical, Taxation, etc.

Annamalai University DDE Admissions

Candidates willing to study through Annamalai University Distance Education Program can get admission through the following two modes:

Spot Admission

Annamalai University provides a Spot admission facility only to those candidates living near any of the designated university Study Centers. The selection of all the programs will be made through the Study Center. For acquiring seats through Spot admission, candidates must submit the required documents along with the application form in person to any study center or contact the Annamalai University DDE office.

Admission through Post

Other candidates seeking DDE Admission can send duly filled-in applications to “The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar – 608 002” along with attested Xerox copies of required documents.

Annamalai University Distance Education Results are announced on the official website of AU DDE. Students can check their results by entering their Roll Number /Register Number in the box present under the “Examinations” tab and clicking “Get Marks”.
