About Jammu College of Physiotherapy - [JCP]

Jammu College of Physiotherapy was established in 2002 in Jammu of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a deemed institute of Physiotherapy in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and is the only college that is providing services in the field of physiotherapy in the state. It is established under the Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education and Research.

It offers only one courses at UG level i.e. Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Admission to this course is merit based.

The college boasts of a beautiful campus with lush greenery and a peaceful environment with the perfect serene study atmosphere. It has excellent and state of the art infrastructure, experienced faculty and it runs its own OPD (outpatient department) daily with approx. 60 patients.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy	Duration- 4.5 years(4years and 6 months rotatory internship included) Eligibility- 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least an aggregate of 50% for general and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

Library: The College has the library facility open to all students. The Institute has an updated Library and is well ventilated with over 4000 books, current and back issues of National/International journals. It is updated every year. The library subscribes to magazines, newspapers & journals relating to topics of general nature and specialized field of science.
Boys Hostel: The College has a good boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students but there are limited accommodations. Students seeking admission have to fill out a form beforehand.
Girls Hostel: The College has a good girl’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students but there are limited accommodations. Students seeking admission have to fill out a form beforehand.
I.T Infrastructure: The College provides excellent IT Infrastructure facilities for the students.
Cafeteria: Good cafeteria maintaining hygienic standards of food items at a very reasonable price open for both staff and students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room: Guesthouse/waiting room facilities for student family members and visiting faculty.
Transport Facility: The management owns 9 buses and provides a transport service for both students and staff members.
Other facilities include Auditorium, AC, WIFI, Computer Lab, Parking, Playground, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and sports facilities.
