Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Admissions 2024

Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Admission will soon commence for various UG, PG, Doctoral, Post-Doctoral, and Diploma programs. Candidates aspiring to be admitted into a particular course at SKIMS have to appear in their respective entrance examinations. Individuals seeking admission to MBBS, MD/MS and DM/MCh have to qualify for NEET UG, NEET PG and NEET SS.

Students aspiring to be admitted to the BSc Nursing/MSc Nursing/BSc/MSc must appear in the JKBOPEE, followed by counselling.
Admission to diploma programs in streams such as DMLT, DMRT and DMRIT is based on the merit list.
BOPEE conducts the JK NEET UG and NEET PG Counselling for MBBS and MD/MS admission.
SKIMS reserves 15% of MBBS seats under the All India Quota, and 85% of seats are reserved under the State Quota.

Candidates clearing the entrance examination will have to sit for a counselling/personal interview. Individuals appearing for counselling must register on the official website of BOPEE (https://www.jkbopee.gov.in/). Jammu Kashmir NEET Counselling will be conducted in three rounds for admission to SKIMS. If seats are left vacant after the first round of JK NEET counselling, the second and mop-up rounds of counselling are conducted.
