About Vidyasagar College - [VSC]

Vidyasagar College (VSC) was established in 1872 by Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar by the name of Metropolitan College. It offers UG and PG courses in both Arts and Science Stream. It has been accredited ‘B++’ grade by the NAAC team.

VSC is affiliated to Calcutta University and follows the curriculum of the University only. It is one of the oldest institutions in the country and was the first private college in India run by the Indians.
