College of Engineering, Muttathara Facilities

Central library: the library is situated on the 1st floor of the administrative block of the college and the area is about 420 sqm which includes the reading area. There is proper and updated study material for the students. There is a huge collection of engineering books.
Central computing facility: CCS is provided to the students with all modern facilities and fully equipped computers. CCF has 100 MBPS unlimited broadband internet connectivity on optical wire under BSNL and a hundred MBPS broadband internet connectivity on Optical Fibre.
Canteen: the area of the canteen is 161.21 sqm. There is a huge variety of food like South Indian for breakfast and lunch. Proper hygiene is maintained. The timing of the canteen is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on all working days.
Seminar hall: The area of the seminar hall is about 138 sqm which includes all the modern facilities like audiovisual, lightings, etc. Different activities like expert seminar workshops, faculty development programs, etc. are conducted in the seminar hall.
Transportation: Buses facility is provided to the staff and students both to save time. The various number of buses moves from various places in the City.
Hostel: Hostel facility is there for both boys and girls but those hostels are run by local parties and not by the college.

No, CEM does not offer any management program but offers only a BTech program which is for 4 years and offers 5 different types of specialization under the BTech program that are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, electronics and communication engineering, and computer science and engineering.

Ans. Yes, the college provides the placement and there are proper training and placement cell for it. Training and placement cell conduct motivation skills, leadership qualities, communication skills, group discussion, and interview techniques for the students.
