Eklavya Institute of Technology (EIT), Chamarajnagar is a perfect combination of technical study as well as exposure to nature.  EIT is an engineering college,which is AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved.The college was founded in 2010. This green, clean campus is having an approximate area of 18 acres and is located at Ummathur village, Karnataka. This college provides a platform for bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Diploma as well in various streams. The motto of the college is to give technical knowledge as well as self- discipline, and perfect professional guidance. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU) Belagaum and is acknowledged by Karnataka’s government. The college aims to provide the best technical education to the students. As the student strength of the college is not very large so the teacher-student ration remains small. The campus is placed near to Mysore railways stations also many small towns like Chamarajanagar, Kollegal, T.Narasipur, Gundlu petetc are just 25 km away from the campus.
