About Wingssss College of Aviation Technology - [WCAT]

Wingsss College of Aviation Technology (WCAT), Pune is a private institute which is affiliated to Mumbai University, Mumbai. The college was established in the year 2006 and are pioneer in introducing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Program in Maharashtra for nearly two decades.The institute is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for CAR 147 (Basic training organization). WCAT, Pune offers various undergraduate courses in the Science, Aviation and Engineering discipline.

WCAT has been recognised as the only Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institute amongst all engineering colleges by the Times Engineering Ranking Survey 2021 and 2022. The institute has ranked 95th among top 125 private Engineering Institutes by Times All India Engineering Institutes Ranking survey 2022.

The institute’s faculties are well-trained with vast expertise and knowledge in defense and airline sector. WCAT offers Practical & Training Facilities, Live Aircrafts, Variety of Engines and Advanced Lab facilities for the students. The institute focuses on practical trainings and organises a number of workshops for the students. WCAT Pune has 52 seater FOKKER F 27 Aircraft, a 9 seater LEARJET 25D Aircraft & a BELL 47 G HELICOPTER for In-house Practical Training.
