Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Science is a medical college located in Sri Adichunchanagiri Kshetra, Karnataka. It was established in the year 1986 by the CM of Karnataka. It has now made its position among the best medical colleges of the city. The colleges’ motto has always been to provide the students with all the facilities and training to turn them into good healthcare providers of the future. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
The college is approved by the Government of Karnataka and Medical Council of India and accredited by many associations. There are some courses which are approved by the government and those are MBBS and MD/MS. AIMS Mandya Admissions 2024
AIMS Mandya mainly offers Medical degrees so the admissions are based on NEET scores obtained by the students. The college prepares a shortlist of candidates and according to that the students get admission.
- The college takes an intake of students on the basis of the National eligibility entrance test, which is conducted every year.
- The cutoff ranks are regularly updated on the official website which the students can check at the time of admission. The student must score above the cutoff marks in order to be eligible for the merit list.
- The merit list is prepared keeping an eye on every aspect such as difficulty level of the entrance exam, marks of the student, number of candidates applied to the program.

- After getting the marks of NEET-UG/PG, the student must apply for admission through the college's official website. The student can easily fill up the form before the last dates.
- The organisation will then ask for all the required documents such as NEET score card, 12th documents, etc.

AIMS Mandya Placements
AIMS Mandya offers internships/jobs in various labs, health care systems, hospitals, research organizations, etc. The students are trained with the help of talented mentors and given the right opportunity as well. The internship is one year long and during this time the student has to deal with real patients. This gives a good experience to the students and they become ready for future opportunities. The students also get some monthly stipend during that period. The median salary was recorded to be 4.2 lakh / annum in the placements.
- The internships are provided by the college administration and the student must qualify for it. The selection is based on various points such as behaviour and marks of the student.
- After the completion of the internship they get a certificate which is quite helpful if the student tends to join other organisations. The students usually get a good job after the completion of the internship.
- On an average the students get a stipend of 15000/month during this period of internship.

AIMS Mandya Scholarships
The college doesn't officially provide any state funded scholarships as it is an autonomous college but the students can get some financial help through various programs. Many organisations offer financial help to mbbs students as it is quite an expensive course. Some of the scholarships which the student can apply for are as follows:
- Dr. Abdul Kalam medical scholarship: It provides INR 20,000 annually to the students who qualify the test. Students can apply to it online and it is conducted annually.
- Swami Dayanand education scholarship: It provides 50,000 annually to the students who qualify the test. It is also conducted every year and students can apply to it online.

AIMS Mandya has a sprawling campus with an eco-friendly environment. Peaceful surroundings help the students to concentrate in their studies. The facilities are as follows:

Dr M.G. Shivaramu is the principal of the college. The departments of the college are headed by Ph.D degree holders. Under every HOD there is a well trained and qualified group of teachers that helps the students with their studies. Most of the teachers have some past experiences in the healthcare department. These experiences are very valuable to the students.
