AIIM was established in 2003, in a self-contained fully residential and picturesque campus in Daivappura at the foothills of Ponmudi. The Institute was founded by Iqbal College Trust in the year 1964. The Trust and its Educational Institutions are named after the great Patriot, Philosopher, and Educationalist, Sir Dr. Allama Mohammed Iqbal. AIIM is affiliated to the University of Kerala and approved by AICTE and Govt. of Kerala. The Institute is now rated as the 3^rd best B-school and the 2^nd best industry interfaced B-school in entire Kerala region. AIIM offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in several specializations to the candidates.

AIIM MBA Admission

The Institute offers MBA program in six specializations at the Postgraduate level namely, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Systems Management and Marketing Management.  The minimum eligibility to apply is Bachelors from the University of Kerala (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For selection to MBA course, a candidate must acquire a valid MAT/ KMAT/ CMAT score or any other recognized Management Affiliated Test.

AIIM Placement

The objective of the Placement cell is to train students towards employability skills such as group discussion and interview skills which in turn helps them to move into the desired occupation and/or apply in valued postgraduate and professional schools. The Placement cell enables the students to explore the world of employment and new career avenues. It also helps students in career planning through counseling wherein they gather information about themselves in terms of their interests, aptitudes, and abilities so that they can choose their career more effectively. The Placement cell takes the initiative to explore new career avenues for graduates and postgraduates through visits to new companies and unexplored sectors. During the previous year, more than 25 corporate organizations visited AIIM campus to recruit potential employees from various streams of study at Postgraduate and Graduate Level.

AIIM Facilities

• The library has more than 20000 volumes of books on a variety of subjects and subscribes to more than 68 International and National Periodicals and has a good collection of latest CDs in various fields. The housekeeping operations of the Library is fully automated with Library Automation Software.
• The Campus is having wi-fi facility wherein the students can use their laptop anywhere on the campus. Internet facility is available on these machines.
• A hostel for women with modern amenities was constructed in 2013 under Iqbal College Trust. It is ready for the occupation of 200 students with administrative staff providing food and accommodation. There are ample facilities for entertainment, sports, and games.
