Barasat College Courses Offered:

Barasat College Admissions:

Admission to all the courses offered at Barasat College is conducted on a Merit Basis of the qualifying examination. All candidates are required to have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized Board.

Candidate applying for Honors courses should have 50% marks as aggregate, 45% marks in the related subjects, and 55% marks in the main honors stream subject.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 in the vocational stream are eligible for all the BA and B.Sc general courses.
For B.Com, candidates must have Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) qualified from a recognized board of education and mathematics should be a compulsory subject.
English should be a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST only require 40% aggregate and 40% in each related subject for the Honors courses.
The total process of admission will be executed Online.

Admission to the BA, B.Sc and B.Com programs will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
