Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya

Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya was established in June 1971 in the premises of Bhogawati Highschool at Shahunagar (Parite) to ful-fill the need of higher education of the students, living in the area of Bhogawati Co-operative Sugar Factory. The aim of the college is to render a valuable service in the field of education by providing the facilities of higher education to students of nearby villages

Activities:

• National Service Scheme- Student of this unit volunteer in tasks of social service including programs for educational, cultural, social, moral, and economic reconstruction of the surrounding locality. Special camps are organized and programs like blood donation camps, cleanliness and sanitation drives are undertaken

• National Cadet Corps- They participate in various activities like horse riding, rock climbing, trekking, mountaineering, para sailing, rafting regetta etc. They are trained and further encouraged to participate in chief ministers and prime minister's rally, basic leadership camp, republic day parade etc
