Chikiti Mahavidyalaya

Chikiti Mahavidyalaya, Chikiti was established in the year 1980 to impart higher education to the neglected and the poor people in the region. It got affiliated from the Berhampur University and accredited with ‘B’ Grade by NAAC. The College has a campus area of 6.068 acres at a distance of about 32 kms from Berhampur. It is situated in the South-East part of Ganjam district bordering Andhra Pradesh. The aim of the institute is to inculcate the habit of social ,cultural and ethical activities among the students.

Extra Curricular Activities

• NSS - The College has four units of National Service Scheme, 3 with 50 boys each and the other with 50 girls. The NSS units organize approximately 28 extension programmes per year in the areas of health and hygiene and awareness drives.
• YRC - The college has started one unit of junior Red Cross from the session 2009-10 for the purpose of including in the youth of the country,the idea of peace and the practice of service; especially in relation to the care of their own health and that of others.
