Chittaranjan College provides adequate facilities ensuring the comfort and quality education of the students. Some of the facilities provided by the college include:
- Library: The library houses many books, in addition to newspapers and periodicals in the Reading Room for students for reference work as well as for preparation for different competitive examinations. The e-library of the college is fully functional. All students are able to utilize the same for browsing, literature search, accessing the journals, etc.
- Railway concession: Monthly Railway orders are issued to bonafide students of the college who come from suburban areas. In order to avail of the said concession, a student must not have any outstanding dues against him/her for the period concerned.
- Hostel: Hostels for both women and men are provided. Both the hostels are provided with overhead tanks and electric motors. It also provides other basic facilities like kitchen, dining hall, bathrooms, badminton court, indoor games, guest rooms, internet/Wi-Fi, and so on.
- Canteen: The campus has three main canteens for snacks, vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, coffee, tea, ice cream, pizzas, burgers, noodles, etc.
- Healthcare: The campus has a medical center with a qualified physician and trained nurse to treat staff, students, and residents of the campus without charging them.
- Sports: Various indoor and outdoor sports facilities are provided to the students so that they recharge and freshen up their minds in between their busy schedules.
- Internet Facility: The college is equipped with high-speed internet service available to the students of all the classes during the college hour. There is a separate internet lab with an adequate number of computers for the students.
- Guest House: A guest house facility is provided for the parents and guardians of the students and is on a nominal rent. The guest house has all the necessities in it.
- Transportation: The college has an adequate number of buses for the students and staff members.

Ques. What is the attendance criteria required for Chittaranjan College?
Ans. As per the regulations of the Calcutta University, students will have to attend a minimum of 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject separately in order to be eligible to appear in the University Examination as a regular collegiate student. If the attendance acquired by the student is between 65% - 75%, the student may be permitted to appear as a non-collegiate student on payment of the prescribed non-collegiate fee to the University. If the acquired percentage is lesser than 65%, the student is not eligible to appear in the University Examination.
