Established in 1950, Chaudhary Mahadev Prasad Degree College often abbreviated to CMPC is one of the oldest colleges of India. Earlier undertaken by the ‘Kayastha Pathshala’, Asia’s biggest trust is now affiliated to the University of Allahabad. It imparts education in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Law. Admissions to under graduation programs are done on the basis of under graduation admission test (UGAT). Similarly, the college conducts the P.G admission test (PGAT) and LAT for law admissions. These exams are conducted in Mumbai and Bangalore apart from Prayagraj.
