About Dayalbagh Educational Institute - [DEI]
Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) is a Public Institute which was given the status of Deemed University by UGC in the year 1981. The Institute is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The genesis of education in Dayalbagh was the opening of the Radhasoami Educational Institutes (REI) on January 1,1917 by Sir Anand Sarup, Kt., the fifth Revered Leader of the Radhasoami Faith. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). DEI ranked 88th in Management Category by NIRF 2022.
DEI offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Programs in the field of Engineering, Technology, Science, Commerce, Social Sciences, Education and Arts.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) Admissions
Selection criteria
- The minimum eligibility is 10+2 with PCM from a recognized board. JEE Main passed candidates are eligible to secure admission in B.Tech while NATA qualified candidates are eligible for B.Arch. Final admission is based on the performance in Academics and Interview. DEI also offers B.Tech course in Integrated and Part-Time mode
- Admission to BA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.Voc, BFA and B.Ed courses is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in 10+2 followed by a valid score in the Written Test conducted by DEI and Interview.
- Merit in 10+2 is sufficient to secure admission in Integrated courses such as BA (H)+ B.Voc, BA (SS)+ B.Voc, BBA+MBA and B.Com + MBA.
- Performance in the qualifying degree and Written Test Score followed by an Interview is the minimum requirement to secure admission in MA, M.Sc, MBA, M.Tech, M.Ed, M.Com, PG Diploma and M.Voc courses.
- For M.Phil and Ph.D. programs, DEI conducts a Written Objective Test and Research Entrance Test (RET) respectively.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) Facilities
Following facilities are offered to the students:
Buildings: The Institute has a sprawling complex and the constituent faculties are housed in magnificent buildings with all modern amenities and essential fixtures.
Libraries, Books and Book-banks: The Institute's libraries contain about 1.75 Lakh books and subscribe to about 180 periodicals and journals in addition to 22 newspapers and magazines. Book-banks in all the faculties cater to the needs of the students who are economically weak. Access to more than 5,000 e-journals and five databases are available through INFLIBNET service of UGC. The library has also purchased five databases of engineering and management disciplines. Scanning, printing and Internet facilities are available for the users of the library. The Central Library is fully computerized with bar-code system.
International Seminar Hall Complex: The Institute has an International Seminar Hall (area 250 sq. m.) with a seating capacity of 250. In the same complex, 16 rooms are also available to accommodate visitors/guests. The facility is used for organizing International Seminars, Workshops, Symposia and Guest Lectures, etc.
