GMC Surat was established in 1964 with the primary objective of offering medical education and conducting research within Gujarat. It is affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). GMC Surat has been awarded the 89^th national rank by IIRF 2023.
