About JSS Academy of Technical Education - [JSSATE]

Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education which is also known as JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) is an engineering college situated in the city of Bangalore. JSSATE was established in the year of 1997 beneath the JSS Mahavidyapeetha which is located at Mysore. JSSATE is affiliated by VTU (i.e.) Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belgaum, Karnataka, India. It has been ranked by NIRF at 55 among the top universities in India in 2019.

Currently, seven different courses are available in the undergraduate (B.E.) program in JSSATE. In addition to the UG program, two courses in M.E. along with one business administration course also present in the post-graduation program. Around 120 candidates are carrying out their research studies in the JSSATE. There are approximately 2850 students are pursuing their studies in JSSATE.

JSSATE Bangalore Admission

Admissions to JSSATE for B.E. regular, lateral entry, M.E., and MBA are done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in entrance exams like KCET, DCET, GATE, and PGCET respectively. All these KCET, DCET, and PGCET examinations are conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Candidates wishing to study a course in JSSATE must enroll for the suitable entrance exams respective to the desired course they wish to study. Following are the facilities offered by JSS Academy of Technical Education Bangalore to cater to the needs of the students as well as faculty members:

Library: JSSATE consists of a centralized library that grants open and free access to all books and journals for every student. Numerous international journals are also made available for all the students to make use of it.
Gym: A Gym or a fitness centre is present at the boy’s hostel. Any students or faculty can make use of the gym facility.
Sports: Various indoor, as well as outdoor sports like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Basketball, Handball, Throwball, Volleyball, Football, and Cricket, are been taught to students by well-trained sportspersons. A separate 200m athletic track, gymnastic facility, and separate area for Yoga were also present in JSSATE.
Canteen: Different varieties of tasty foods are made available in the canteen for the students and the staff. The canteen set up in the campus is a very hygienic and a vegetarian canteen.
ATM: ATMs are present within the college campus in order to meet the emergency of students and faculties. This ATM facility provides major support to the students residing at the college hostel.
