Junagadh Agricultural University(JAU) Admission

The GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Exam) scores of the applicants determine admission to all undergraduate programmes. On the other hand, admission to graduate programmes is based on performance in a university-level entrance exam and merit. The online application form is accessible for students to download (www.jau.in). They will have to pay a registration cost of INR 1000. Forms that have been properly filled out should be delivered in person or via registered mail to the Principal and Dean. All qualified candidates will then be contacted for a written exam, a discussion in a group setting, and an individual interview. The campus is beautiful and can be explored. There are various facilities available like-

Library- A double-story stack room at the university library can hold 1.5 lakh books. There are over 42,000 books in the library. The library offers 14,000 back volumes as well as 150 Indian and about 42 foreign publications
Cybrary- JAU has 40 workstations in two separate, nicely furnished cells for Cyberary. Students can access databases including CAB, AGRIS, and AGRICOLA through Cyberary, which has 100 Mbps LAN connectivity. This has made it much easier for people to use the library for research reasons. Students have access to a full-time internet connection, scanning, and CD-writing capabilities in the Cyberary.
Hostel - The hostel facility is present for both boys and girls. Hostel accommodations with an accompanying mess are available to all undergraduate and graduate students. With a combined capacity of 2312 students, there are a total of 27 hostels, 20 for boys and 7 for girls. Two additional hostels are being built in Targhadiya and Amreli to accommodate the growing number of students.
Sports: JAU has 2 multipurpose indoor sports complexes, 8 outdoor facilities and 1 modern gymnasium with all the gym equipment. 4 sports tournaments are organized by JAU-
